Description:   All of the known greenways and trails in Knox County are included in this feature class, except for the trails at IC King Park and Concord Park (coming soon). Most of the trail data was gathered using recreation-grade GPS receivers. The trail network layout (intersections, access points, etc.) have been extensively reviewed for data quality, but there may be positional errors of up to 30 or 40 feet. See the MAPPINGMETHOD field for more information. The positional accuracy of the paved greenways and exercise loops have been verified against aerial imagery where unobstructed. This feature class contains some trails that are under construction, closed, or to be used for emergency access only. See the STATUS and TYPOLOGY fields for more information.
