Location Address:
|
Each parcel is assigned one address as it's location address. It should
be a valid MPC address, however it may not be the same as the "Site Address" listed
above. For example: an apartment may have a Site Address of XXXX and but the
Parcel Location Address may be YYYY. Location addresses are maintained by the Property
Assessor's Office.

CLT Map:
|
CLT grid in which the parcel is located. The CLT map number is the first 3 numbers
of the Parcel ID. It should always be 3 characters in length. For example: CLT map
number 24 should be referenced as 024. Valid range is: 001 - 174.

Insert:
|
This is the Insert Map for the CLT Map. The Insert Map is the fourth character in
the Parcel ID. Not all parcels have an Insert Map. If your parcel does
not have an Insert Map insert a space in the Parcel ID (e.g. 142 007).
Valid range is: A - G.

Group:
|
Group is the fifth character in the Parcel ID. Not all parcels have a Group
letter. If your parcel does not have a Group letter insert a space in the
Parcel ID (e.g. 142 007). Valid range is: A - Z.

Parcel:
|
Parcel is the actual parcel number. The parcel number makes up the next 3 to 5 characters.
It will always be at least three digits in length (e.g. parcel number 1 will be
001). If the parcel has a subunit, it will be the next two characters (e.g.
parcel number 1.01 will be 00101). Subunits are often represented by a decimal
(e.g. 27.01). However, for the parcel id the decimal is dropped (e.g. parcel
number 27.01 becomes 02701).

Condo Letter:
|
Condo letter represents the Condo designation. This may be either a letter or a
number. This is the last character in the Parcel ID and is not a required.

Parcel ID:
|
Parcel ID is the unique identifier for a parcel. It is created by combining
the following pieces of information:
CLT Map
Insert (optional)
Group (optional)
Parcel Number
Condo (optional) Here is an example of some valid Parcel IDs: 094LE034, 142
013, 154 01301, 049IJ00100B.

District:
|
County Tax District. This should be a 2-digit alpha-numeric value (e.g. D9,
E6). Parcels that reside within the Knoxville City Limits should not
have a District value.

Ward:
|
City Ward. This should be a 2-digit numeric value (e.g. 02, 21). Parcels that
reside outside the Knoxville City Limits should not have a Ward value.
|
Subdivision:
|
Subdivision name. The Property Assessor's Office considers the division of any parcel
of land a "subdivision". Therefore, the value you see in this field may or
may not represent a common subdivison name such as Broadacres, Murphy Hills, or
Kings Gate. It may actually have values like Doll & Mynderse Co, Dolly
Holeman Prop.

Recorded Acreage:
|
Acreage reflected on the property deed.
|
Calculated Acreage:
|
Acreage reflected from description calculations.
|
Recorded Plat:
|
Last recorded plat for the parcel. This should reflect the Plat Book and Plat Book
Page for the recorded plat in the Register of Deeds Office. Plats recorded
after Dec. 31, 1998 have a 15-digit instrument number that should be used to reference
the plat.

Recorded Deed:
|
Last recorded deed for the parcel. This should reflect the Deed Book and Deed Page
for the recorded deed in the Register of Deeds Office. Deeds recorded after
Dec. 31, 1998 have a 15-digit instrument number that should be used to reference
the deed.

Deed Type:
|
The type of deed that was last recorded for the parcel.

Deed Date:
|
Date the last deed was RECORDED for the parcel. [NOTE: This date is
NOT always the same as the Deed SALE Date, which is displayed on the Owner
Card Report. Also, it should be noted that older property transactions will usually
have a NULL value for this "Recorded" Deed Date value; whereas all property transactions
should have a Deed "Sale" Date (as shown on the Owner Card Report).]
